# Operations & Managed Hosting

> We run what we build: self-hosted on your infrastructure or ours, with monitoring, backups, updates and documented recovery paths that have been tested.

---
A system is not finished when it works. It is finished when someone is accountable for it. We take on operations for the systems we build — and often for systems someone else built that simply have to keep running.

Self-hosted is the default here, not the exception: on your infrastructure if you need the control, on ours if you would rather not carry the effort. Either way you get the credentials, the documentation and a way back out.

## Typical project scope

- Container operations with reproducible deployments (Docker, GitLab CI/CD)
- TLS certificates, reverse proxy, domain and mail configuration
- Monitoring, log retention and alerting with defined thresholds
- Backups with a proven restore — verified, not assumed
- Update and patch cadence for application, runtime and operating system
- Handover documentation: runbooks, recovery procedures, escalation paths

## What we settle first

Operations cost money continuously, and an on-call promise is more expensive than most systems justify. So we agree upfront what an outage may actually cost and derive availability, response times and backup frequency from that — rather than selling the highest tier by default.
